大巴黎官方透露，梅西在周三晚的欧冠比赛中因小腿拉伤被换下场，在经过检查后仍在接受治疗。有关伤病恢复情况将在周日进行更新。

这也是梅西本赛季首次缺席巴黎的比赛，此前他是仅有的两位全部13场比赛都首发的球员之一，另外一位是门将多纳鲁马。

另一边厢，皇马也公布了周六客场对赫塔菲的比赛大名单，本泽马因伤缺阵。

皇马方面没有披露本泽马具体的伤情，而据西班牙《阿斯报》报道，本泽马是肌肉疲劳，考虑到下周对顿涅茨克矿工的欧冠比赛，主教练安切洛蒂决定让本泽马休息。

安帅表示：“在伤停了一个月后，他连续踢了2场比赛，有一点疲劳了。”上一次本泽马缺阵的时候，皇马保持了连胜，而罗德里戈、巴尔韦德等球员表现出色，填补了本泽马留下的空缺。

同时，曼联主帅也宣布了本周末不会让队长马奎尔上阵对垒埃弗顿。
